PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Ground Fueling Service

TAF Energies holds a distinguished position as one of the leading distributors of fuel in Ethiopia with over 90 fuel stations. Renowned for its pivotal role in the nation’s energy landscape, TAF Energies ensures the seamless transportation and delivery of various fuel products sourced from the Ethiopian Petroleum Supply Enterprise to diverse destinations across the country. As a prominent distributor, TAF Energies caters to a broad spectrum of fuel needs, encompassing Benzene (MGR), Diesel (AGO), Kerosene (Kero), Light Fuel Oil (LFO), and Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO). This extensive portfolio reflects TAF Energies’ dedication to meeting diverse customer requirements and supporting various sectors, including transportation, manufacturing, agriculture, and residential households.

Aviation or JET A-1 Fueling Service

TAF Energies has strategically positioned itself as the backbone of the Jet A1 fuel supply chain in Ethiopia by owning and operating 98% of the trucks used for transporting fuel from Djibouti to the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
This level of vertical integration sets TAF Energies apart from its competitors at the airport, giving the company a significant advantage in terms of reliability, control, and efficiency in the fuel supply process. By having a strong fleet of owned trucks
dedicated to fuel transportation, TAF Energies ensures prompt and seamless delivery of Jet A1 fuel to meet the demanding schedules of airlines operating at the bustling international airport.

Renewable Energy Supply

TAF Energies-Renewable Energy Business stream was formed in December 2023 within the existing TAF Energies aiming to introduce, develop, manufacture, promote, and disseminate various renewable energy technologies and to play a significant role in the energy transition in Ethiopia and East Africa through developing renewable energy projects that contribute towards the universal access goals, sustainable development, energy independence and as well as aiming at mitigating climate changes by reaching zero net emission by using efficient energy mix in Ethiopia and in other eastern Africa countries. The main products and services about Solar PV technologies, that TAF Energy provides are;

  • Supply and installation of Solar Home Systems, Institutional Solar Systems, grid-connected solar parks, and Solar Water pumps.
  • Supply and implement energy-efficient networking systems manufacturing of solar PV systems.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and technical design as well as implementation and management of Solar mini-grids.
  • Providing standalone renewable energy systems based on productive end-use technologies Serve as Independent Power Producer.
