TAF Energies Expands Its CSR Commitment
TAF Energies, in partnership with the Addis Ababa City Administration and the Commission for Civic Engagement and Volunteerism, has launched a two-year Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at supporting 70 vulnerable individuals and 10 children.
The program provides long-term assistance to those in need, reinforcing TAF Energies’ ongoing commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond its core business.
Endorsement from City Officials
During the official launch event, Commissioner Yimer Kebede highlighted the importance of private sector involvement in addressing social challenges.
“TAF Energies is setting a strong example by fulfilling its social responsibility and actively supporting the community,” he stated.
His remarks emphasized that companies play a key role in building more inclusive and supportive cities.
Recognition for Corporate Citizenship
Dr. Misikir Negash, Executive Director of Kirkos Sub-City, presented TAF Energies and its management with a certificate of appreciation. He praised the company for its consistent contributions to the city’s social development efforts.

TAF Energies General Manager, W/ro Mekdes Assefa, reaffirmed the company’s long-standing commitment to CSR. She noted that this initiative builds on TAF’s previous support of over 40 individuals, including veterans and low-income families, over the past two years.
