YETAF Holding Joins Ethiopia’s National Seedling Day by Planting Over 1,500 Fruit Trees in Support of Sustainability.
This past Saturday( 12/07/2025 ), YETAF Holding proudly took part in Ethiopia’s annual national seedling initiative under the 2025 theme “በመትከል ማንሰራራት ችግኝ ተከላ ” This powerful nationwide movement has united millions across the country over the last seven years to plant trees, restore nature, and inspire environmental consciousness.
In alignment with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments, the YETAF Holding team joined hands to plant over 1,500 fruit tree seedlings at the Lenegewa Women’s Rehabilitation and Skill Development Center in Addis Ababa a site that provides care and vocational training for vulnerable women.
A Day Rooted in Purpose
The event was graced by distinguished guests and local government representatives. Former Social Trust Fund Head of Addis Ababa City Administration, W/ro Asrat Neguse, praised TAF Energies a YETAF subsidiary for leading by example in corporate responsibility and urged other institutions to follow suit.
Also present was the Center’s Deputy General Director, Ato Getaneh Lulu, who extended heartfelt appreciation for the support this event (ችግኝ ተከላ). On top of that He emphasized the importance of continuity in such engagements and toured the YETAF team through the facility, showcasing the services offered to residents.
